The Nordlux Smart Remote Control is a good addition to your Nordlux Smart lights, as you gain an additional mode of control.
Below you will find a step-by-step guide on how to connect and set up your Remote Control.
Download the Nordlux Smart app from the App Store or Google Play.
Remove the battery cap and insert 1 x CR 2450 3V battery.
Turn on Bluetooth on your device. Distance to Remote Control is up to 5 meters.
Open the Nordlux Smart app and tap the plus icon in the top right corner or “Add device”.
1. Tap “Add”. 2. Choose the device and tap “Next”. 3. Add device to room or skip this step.
Device is now being connected. Tap “Finished”. If the device is not connected successfully, please tap the “!” for further information.
Tap the remote on the home screen under “Your devices”.
1. Tap “Linked 1”. 2. Push and hold the “1” button on the remote while tapping “Connect”. 3. Choose a room and tap “Save” while holding the “1” button again. 4. Repeat for each button.
When experiencing connection issues here, a common solution is to reset either the bulb or the Remote Control.
To reset the remote control, press the hole on the back with a pointed object 3 times with a 2 second interval. The reset is complete when the light on the front of the remote starts to flash.
